(Individual headstones) John Anderson Vernon, a son of Reuben W. and Mary J. Corn Vernon, born in Rockingham, N.C., married Mary Jane Brewster Feb 25, 1885 jn Tazewell, VA., he died Dec 27th in Bandy, Tazewell, VA. They had eight children. Mary Jane Brewster, one of five children, born, to John B. and Elizabeth B. Whitt Brewster, in Tazewell, VA., she also died there.
