John White Holt, forth child of Col John White Holt and Eliza Leftwich. Born 1819 died 1889. Married Ella Jane Scruggs 1846. They had four children. He was the proprietor of the Norveil House Lynchburg VA and the Purcell House Norfolk Va with his brother James Rice Holt
