10th President of he United States10th United States President, 10th United States Vice President, 23rd Virginia Governor, US Senator, US Congressman, Civil War CSA Congressman. He was elected Vice President on the Presidential ticket with William Henry Harrison, and assumed the presidency when President Harrison died a month into his term of office.
