Aged 86 years. Buried next to his mother Judith (Carter) Henry
the first Civilian killed in the Civil War.

In 1886, Hugh F. Henry collected from the fields artifacts from the fist and second Battle of Manassas. The collection is on display at the Manassas Battlefield Museum. The collection includes a few artifact reminders of his mother, first civilian killed during the Civil War.
