In memory of
Rev. George W. Nelson
who was born on the 2d. of march
1800, and died on the 20th.
of February 1840 in the triumphs
of the faith of that gospel which
he preached for six years as rector
of Lunenburg, North Farnham and
Cople Parishes.

the two graves on either side are
those of his children.

The sting of death is sin and the strenght
of sin is the Law but thanks be to God
who giveth us the victory through our
Lord Jesus Christ.

The monument is erected by his parishioners.
